This technique, originating from traditional Chinese medicine, uses the body's energy networks called meridians. Seated Amma massage can be performed at any time of day, anywhere, and for anyone, except for pregnant women. It is received fully clothed, without oil, on a specially designed ergonomic chair. The scalp, neck, shoulders, arms, hands, back, and hips will be stimulated by various techniques of pressure, stretching, energy sweeps, vibrations, and percussion.
